Osimhen missed Napoli’s Champions League clash against AC Milan on Wednesday night, but his return date has now been revealed.
Napoli have been handed a huge boost ahead of the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final clash against AC Milan after it was confirmed that Victor Osimhen would be fit for the encounter.
Osimhen missed the first leg at San Siro due to an adductor injury he picked up on his return from international duty with Nigeria.
Napoli feel Osimhen's absence
The Super Eagles star had missed the league clash between the two sides on April 2nd before missing the Champions League encounter on Wednesday.
Osimhen’s absence was felt in both games as Napoli lost by five goals without scoring. The Neapolitans lost 4-0 at home in the league before they were beaten at the San Siro by a lone goal on Wednesday night.

However, the good news for Napoli is that they have their talisman for the return leg at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium next week.

Osimhen also has four goals in five Champions League games, showing his importance for Napoli this season.
