Chelsea part ways with head coach Graham Potter following poor run of games
The Graham Potter tenure at Chelsea is finally over and no one can say they did not see this coming. The club sit 11th in the Premier League, and a dismal run that started when the English manager was appointed has forced the club's decision-makers have made the expensive decision to cut ties with the former Brighton boss.
Despite paying a World record fee for the ex-Brighton man, the results or lack thereof from Potter meant that the decision was a matter of when, not if.
The Blues currently sit 11th on the table after a dismal run of only three wins in the last 11 games, and the team's Stamford Bridge loss to Aston Villa proved to be the last straw for Todd Boehly and other Chelsea executives

WHAT'S BUZZIN Reactions as Blues fans brand Graham Potter 'Worst manager in Chelsea history' following sack
Chelsea fans are celebrating like they've won a trophy following the announcement of Graham Potter's sack.
Potter's 39% win percentage is the second-worst at Chelsea since Roman Abramovich bought the club, and the worst at the club by a full-time manager since Danny Blanchflower managed to win only 16% of his games as Chelsea boss in 1979.
Potter took over the reins of Chelsea from Thomas Tuchel, who was dismissed in September last year despite winning the UEFA Champions League in his first season at the club.

Todd Boehly can learn from Bayern's ruthless sacking of Nagelsmann
Bayern Munich have confirmed the sacking of head coach Julian Nagelsmann, here is how Chelsea owner Todd Boehly can draw inspiration from that to apply towards Graham Potter.
Potter failed spectacularly to match up to his predecessor's achievements at the club, and has shown a lack of experience at the top level leading to disastrous results with Chelsea in his short stint.
Chelsea end expensive Potter tenure
Chelsea will count the costs of the Graham Potter reign after they paid Brighton a world record fee of £21.5 million to free him from his contract, and had him set up as the fourth highest-paid coach in the world, which meant that they would have to pay him an outrageous severance believed to be around £50 million when they sacked him.
The money spent to acquire and keep Potter was, however, nothing compared to the amount spent in the transfer window to build his vision for the club.
Since Graham Potter became manager, Chelsea have gone out of their way to finance deals for talents to improve the squad, spending €329.50m in the winter transfer window to bring in talents like Mykhaylo Mudryk, Enzo Fernandez, and Joao Felix to the club.
Nagelsmann favourite for Chelsea job
Potter's replacement is unknown for now, but it is believed that the sudden availability of former Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann could have gone a long way in hastening the decision to sack Potter before Chelsea's UEFA Champions League quarterfinal against Real Madrid.
