Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly prioritised the signing of Victor Osimhen.

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly prioritising the purchase of Victor Osimhen for the summer transfer window.

The Ligue 1 leaders are said to be looking to reinforce their attack and have reportedly marked the Nigerian ace as their preferred candidate.

PSG want Osimhen

According to reports by GFFN, the Ligue 1 defending champions have Napoli’s €100 million rated forward as top priority for the summer.

The 24-year-old is one of the most in-form strikers in world football this season and has been subject to transfer speculation.

PSG's interest in him has been previously reported, alongside that of other European powerhouses like Manchester United and Real Madrid.

However, the Parisians are now said to have prioritised his inquisition and are willing to go all out for him.

The report comes after the increasing possibility of Lionel Messi not extending his PSG contract, with the Barcelona hierarchy publicly admitting to making moves to bring him back to Camp Nou.

Osimhen's inclusion in the PSG side would see Mbappe play his favourite left-wing position, with the France captain publicly expressing his displeasure at playing as a centre-forward.

The Lagos-born striker has 30 goal contributions in 29 games for Napoli this season (25 goals and five assists), and he is expected to be a priority for other teams aside from PSG.

Real Madrid also in for the Nigerian

As we reported previously, Calciomercato stated that Real Madrid is reportedly keeping an eye on Victor Osimhen's progress at Napoli, in line with rumours in the Spanish media. One of the best performers for Napoli this season has been the Nigerian striker.

Rumours claim that Napoli values its top player at a transfer fee of about €150 million and may be reluctant to negotiate with, which will be a difficult deal to complete.
