According to a source, Leicester City are looking for a replacement for Youri Tielemans and may compete with Liverpool for the services of a top midfielder.
Youri Tielemans has been one of Leicester's top players and a key factor in the team's recent success under Brendan Rodgers. Throughout his tenure at the King Power Stadium, the Belgian has established himself as one of the top midfielders in the Premier League.
He put on one of his best performances in the FA Cup final of 2021, beating Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga with a breathtaking strike. The winning goal turned out to secure the trophy for them which was the first team in the history of Leicester.
Leicester move to replace Tielemans
The Foxes will soon be without Tielemans as he runs down his contract with the club and is preparing to leave on a free transfer this summer. Also, Tielemans has made it known to Leicester owners that he prefers to select his next team without having to wait for offers.
Brendan Rodgers will be devastated by this, but Leicester officials are preparing an audacious attempt to replace him.
According to reports from a French source, Jeunes Footeux, they want to sign Renato Sanches from Paris Saint-Germain. They believe Sanches and Tielemans share a similar style and set of qualities that should make him a perfect match for Rodgers' starting eleven.

Because of injuries, Sanches has only had a supporting role to play this season.
Youri Tielemans is valued at €25m (£22m). And only the right bid can make PSG consider a possible transfer for their midfielder.
