Martinez fires Inter Milan back to winning ways

Inter Milan have returned to winning ways following a routine win in the Italian Serie A.

Lautaro Martinez was one of the stars of the day as Inter defeated Lecce 2-0 at San Siro on Sunday evening.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan gave Inter the lead in the first half before Argentina International Martinez wrapped up proceedings with the winner in the second half.

Simeone Inzaghi’s Inter had no problems seeing off their visitors Lecce at San Siro.

The Serie A encounter saw former Manchester United star Mkhitaryan and Martinez on target as Nerazzurri put behind them the defeat last time.

Victory over Lecce saw Inter leapfrog Lazio into second spot on the table but are still 15 points adrift of leaders Napoli.
