Chael Sonnen believes that Kamaru Usman, the former UFC welterweight champion, may have great success if he decides to pursue a middleweight career full-time.

Since he was unable to reclaim his welterweight title at UFC 286 in London last March, Usman's future has been rather questionable.

He confronted Leon Edwards there, seven months after the Englishman's thrilling victory in Salt Lake City.

For the first time in years, "The Nigerian Nightmare" was eliminated from the title race at 170 pounds after losing to "Rocky" on the scorecards for the second fight in a row.
