Anthony Joshua is certain only God can give him victory against Deontay Wilder this December.

Anthony Joshua, a professional boxer from England of Nigerian ancestry, has announced that his December fight with Deontay Wilder will go forward.

Attempts at a fight between Joshua and Wilder have already failed, but this time may be different.

Fan asks Joshua on fight against Wilder

The former heavyweight world champion, who had won the title twice, was in a video with a supporter who asked, “Come on champ, let’s go. Hey bro, you’re gonna beat Wilder?”

Joshua replied, “That’s what’s happening, you know what’s going on.”

The fan asked once again, “It’s going to be in December?” .

Joshua nodded his head and then responded: “It’s public news, we’re getting it down, we’re throwing it down in December.”

The fan added, “You better get that W,”  Joshua who recently recorded a unanimous decision win against Jermaine Franklin ended the conversation, “God willing."

This comes after Joshua stated that a fight with Wilder is "95 percent done" in an interview.

The most recent development occurred earlier this week when Eddie Hearn, Joshua's promoter, traveled to Saudi Arabia in an effort to make the fight happen.

Hearn revealed on his Instagram account that he is now in Saudi Arabia.

The bout could be a part of a rumored Saudi-funded heavyweight tournament that also includes a no-holds-barred match between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk and Joshua vs. Wilder.

The winners would then compete against one another the next year.

Hearn acknowledged that there is interest from the Middle East to have these fights go place on the same night in an interview with IFL TV.

He also estimated that the cost of such a sizable event might reach £320 million. Wilder on the other hand has promised Saudi Arabia its first knockout victim.
