In an interview with Skysports, Azeez explained that he intends to be a boxer that has the ability to stage a comeback within rounds.

He said, "I always imagine myself getting knocked down but having to get off the ropes and knock out the guy. I don't know why. Every fight I'm always like that. So I build like a monster out of my opponent.

"I always visualise, maybe he's outboxing me and I've got to switch it up, change it up. Maybe I'm losing and in the last second I knock him out. That's what I visualise."
