Gabe Vincent erupts in Game 2 as the NBA Finals between the Denver Nuggets and Miami Heat is tied.

In Game 2, the eighth-seeded Miami Heat defeated the Denver Nuggets 111-108 to tie the NBA Finals early on Monday, June 5, 2023.

The Heat defeated the Nuggets despite their best player, Nikola Jokic, scoring 41 points in the defeat thanks to support from all sides.

Butler scored a three-point play and two 3-pointers to cap the run, which was highlighted by Duncan Robinson's two treys, two layups, and a three-pointer.

With 1:09 remaining, Murray made two 3-pointers and Gordon downed one as well, cutting the Heat's advantage to 109-106. 

Adebayo replied with a pair of free throws, and Jokic made a quick jumper before Murray missed his effort to tie the score as the Heat held on for the win.

In order to help the visiting Miami Heat defeat the Denver Nuggets in a crucial game, Gabe Vincent scored 23 points, tying the NBA Finals at one win each.

The Heat outscored the Nuggets 36-25 in the fourth quarter, as Vincent hit 8 of his 12 shots from the field, including 4 of 6 from beyond the arc.

For Miami, which will host Game 3 of the best-of-seven series on Wednesday, Bam Adebayo scored 21 points and grabbed nine rebounds, and Jimmy Butler added 21 points and dished out nine assists.

Jamal Murray added 18 points and 10 assists, and Nikola Jokic of Denver scored 41 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. 

The Nuggets, who are 9-1 at home in the playoffs, lost despite Aaron Gordon's 12 points and Bruce Brown's 11 off the bench.

The Miami Heat now welcome the Denver Nuggets for Game 3 on Wednesday, June 7, 2023.
