Metu shines for the Kings against Magic

Metu put in a solid performance in 14 minutes of action. The 25-year-old was trusted by Head Coach Mike Brown with key possessions while it still was a close game.

He recorded 11 points, grabbed nine rebounds, and dished out two assists making five of the seven shots.

Despite no blocks or steals, Metu was presented with the Sacramento Kings Defensive Player of the Game chain.

It was a massive accomplishment for Metu who did not feature for extended minutes in recent games.

"At this point I mean I kind of it's almost expected so I  do know what to do in order to keep myself ready.

"I know what I can do. I know what I'm capable of so it doesn't matter just going out there and doing it

Following his heroics against the Orlando Magic, Metu will aim to stay in the rotation when the Sacramento Kings welcome the Houston Rockets in their next fixture scheduled for Thursday, 12, 2023.
