Donovan Mitchell turned things around for the Cleveland Cavaliers, who were behind by 18 points in Game 7.

In Sunday's 106-94 victory over the Orlando Magic, Mitchell scored 39 points to lead the Cavaliers to the Eastern Conference semifinals.

In the opening series on Tuesday, the top-seeded Boston Celtics will take on the sixteenth-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers, who haven't lost a playoff series since 2018.

Although it appeared the Cavaliers would lose in the first round for the second time in a row, they managed to win their first playoff series without LeBron James since 1993.

With less than four minutes remaining in the second quarter, Cleveland were behind 49-31.

After the Cavs closed the gap to 10 points at the half, Mitchell's incredible third quarter helped Cleveland complete the comeback.

Throughout the opening half of the last session, the Magic remained within striking distance until Darius Garland eventually found his shot.

After making a 3-pointer to put the Cavaliers up by 11 points, Garland scored 10 of his 12 points in the game's last six minutes.

With 38 points and a career-high 16 rebounds, Paolo Banchero led Orlando, while Jalen Suggs and Franz Wagner combined for just 16 points on 3-of-28 shooting.
