Here is a recap of day 18 of the NBA playoffs as the Knicks beat the Pacers.

The New York Knicks overcame an injury to OG Anunoby to defeat the Indiana Pacers 130-121 and grab a 2-0 lead in the Eastern Conference playoffs. Jalen Brunson overcame a right foot ailment to score 24 of his 29 points in the second half.

Due to the injury, Brunson had to leave the game during the first quarter. However, he came back to warm up after halftime, which excited the Madison Square Garden fans.

Although he was unable to become the second player in NBA history to score forty points or more in five consecutive playoff games, he was the driving force behind the Knicks' progress toward their first East finals appearance since 2000.

Anunoby, who finished the third quarter with a left hamstring strain, scored a career-high 28 points before the series moves to Indiana for Game 3.

Three important players—Julius Randle, Mitchell Robinson, and Bojan Bogdanovic—are already out of the lineup for New York because of injuries that will terminate their seasons.

The Knicks made nearly half of their 3-point tries (14 of 30), led by Donte DiVincenzo's 28 points and six 3-pointers, Josh Hart's 19 points, 15 rebounds, and seven assists, and Isaiah Hartenstein's 14 points, 12 boards, and eight assists.

For the Pacers, Tyrese Haliburton recovered from a dismal first game with 34 points, nine assists, and six rebounds. However, the team harmed itself by going 10 for 17 from the free throw line.
