Here is a recap of day 17 of the NBA playoffs as the Thunder and Celtics win.

In Game 1 of their Western Conference semifinal series, the top-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder defeated Luka Dončić 117-95 thanks to 29 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

The Thunder maintained their playoff undefeated record with a game won by Chet Holmgren (19 points, 7 rebounds), and Jalen Williams (10 of his 18 points) in the fourth quarter.

Doncic had averaged slightly under thirty points per game going into this series, but he was only able to muster 19 on 6-of-19 shooting, one of eight from three-point range, and five turnovers.

Daniel Gafford finished with 16 points, 11 rebounds, and five blocks, while Kyrie Irving led Dallas with 20 points.

Celtics beat Cavaliers

In the first game of their Eastern Conference second-round series, the Boston Celtics defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 120-95 behind 32 points from Jaylen Brown and 25 points from Derrick White, who made seven 3-pointers.

With Payton Pritchard scoring 16 points and Jayson Tatum contributing 18 points and 11 rebounds, the Celtics, who are now 5-1 in the postseason, will host Game 2.

Cleveland suffered their fourth straight loss on the road in a postseason game, despite the 33 points, six assists, and 13 rebounds that Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley contributed.

Jarrett Allen of Cleveland missed his fourth straight game due to a bruised rib, while Kristaps Porzingis of Boston missed his second straight due to a strained right calf.
