Arike Ogunbowale and Nneka Ogwumike: Nigerian-born stars shine in WNBA as Dallas Wings beat Los Angeles Sparks.

Dallas pulled away from the Los Angeles Sparks in the third quarter, and Arike Ogunbowale scored 12 of her 25 points during that period as the Wings won 98-84, their fifth straight victory.

However, Ogunbowale countered with a step-back 3-pointer as the shot clock ran out to start a 12-3 run that gave Dallas the lead permanently.

With 18 points on 8 of 9 shooting, Dearica Hamby led all scorers for Los Angeles. Jordin Canada contributed 16 points and seven assists, Ogwumike had 16 points, and Azurá Stevens added 12.
