During the Nile Conference group phase in Kigali, Rwanda, Alahli Tripoli achieved a 9-1 record and continued their success into the Playoffs, defeating Kriol Star from Cape Verde in the quarterfinals and Rwanda’s APR in the semifinals to reach the Finals.
In league history, Al Ahli Tripoli is the inaugural team to secure victories in both its conference and the championship within the same season.
In the third-place match yesterday, APR triumphed over Egypt’s Al Ittihad with a score of 123–90, establishing a league record for the highest number of points scored in one game.
