Nigerian professional basketball player Joshua Okogie was integral to the Suns' victory against the Bulls.

Suns Head Coach Monty Williams has retained the 24-year-old Okogie in the starting five following the addition of Kevin Durant.

Okogie featured for 33 minutes and contributed 25 points and grabbed four rebounds in the blowout victory.

The Nigerian made seven of his 15 shots and was on fire from three-point range making five of his 10 attempts.

Speaking after the game Durant was full of praise for Okogie for contributing 25 points to the Suns' victory.

He said, "We trust in him. We need him to continue to be aggressive. I mean, giving us 25 points.

"That just takes us to a level that I don't think we all, we can't see where that is."

Okogie returns to action for the Suns away against the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday, March 5, 2023.
