Nigerian professional basketball player Precious Achiuwa was again in fine form for the Toronto Raptors in the NBA.
The 23-year-old Achiuwa featured for the Toronto Raptors as they suffered a 131-128 loss away to the Utah Jazz in an NBA fixture played in the early hours of Thursday, February 2, 2023.
The Utah Jazz playing at home were able to establish a six-point lead at the end of the first quarter.
In a high-scoring second quarter, the Jazz were able to hold on to their advantage as the Raptors cut it to a five-point deficit going to the halftime break.
The Raptors led by Fred VanVleet and the Jazz traded buckets in the fourth in the third quarter as the lead was cut down put just one point.
Clutch execution by both sides down the stretch as the Jazz led by Lauri Markkanen outlasted the Raptors to take a three-point win.

Precious Achiuwa shines for Raptors against Jazz
Achiuwa continues to shine for the Raptors since he has been inserted into the starting lineup by Head Coach Nick Nurse.
The youngster featured in the forward position as a replacement for British professional basketball player Ogugua "O.G." Anunoby Jr.
In 26 minutes of action against the Jazz, Achiuwa recorded 13 points, grabbed six rebounds with one steal, one block, and one assist.
He made six of his eight shots but struggled from the free-throw line shooting one of four.
Achiuwa on good form
Ahead of the game, Achiuwa explained his good form in recent outings for the Raptors.
He said, "We just got to keep playing you know playing hard playing the right way
"We're just trying to win here you know everybody just got to come in you know play the right way and just play winning basketball.
"Just continuing to find my rhythm and uh um playing the right way and playing within the flow of our offense and defensively being you know you know more communicative and just trying to get everybody you know on the same page."
Achiuwa returns to Raptors when the Raptors travel to take on the Houston Rockets to end the road trip on Saturday, February 4, 2023.
