Paris Olympic champion Tara Davis-Woodhall has been nominated for her first World Athletics Awards following her 2024 season's exploits.
The American long jump queen is confirmed in the list of five nominees for the Women’s Field Athlete of the Year. According to World Athletics, the athletes were selected by an international panel of athletics experts, comprising representatives from all six continental areas of the governing body.
Davis-Woodhall had an exceptional year, highlighted by becoming the Olympic long jump and world indoor champion. She also had the most 7m jumps by any female jumper this season.
