Sha'Carri Richardson blazes to a stunning Championship Record to win her first world title in Budapest
In her first World Championships appearance, Sha'Carri Richardson reigned supreme in the women's100m final with a jaw-dropping 10.65s to win the world title in Budapest.
The American speedster ran from lane 9 with lesser pressure, and her start was good enough to match up with the rest of the field.

Richardson broke the Championship Record as Jamaica's duo of Shericka Jackson and defending champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce settled for silver and bronze medals in 10.72s and 10.77s respectively.
Fraser-Pryce's medal means she is the most decorated Jamaican athlete (male or female) in World Championships history with 15 medals, passing legendary Usain Bolt.
For Richardson, she delivered on her talent and hype, showing up when it mattered most and making up for her past failures of making a major championship.
Her time is now tied for fifth on the all-time list and has become USA's first world champion since the late Tori Bowie won at London 2017 Championships.
