World's fastest man Noah Lyles returned to winning ways with stunning victory over Olympic champion Letsile Tebogo at Monaco Diamond League.

Competing in his first 200m race in over a year, Noah Lyles bounced back to winning ways with a brilliant performance to defeat Olympic champion Letsile Tebogo at the Monaco Diamond League.

The American speedster in his season opener and first 200m race since his bronze medal at the Paris Olympic Games, blazed to an impressive Season's Best (SB) of 19.88s (-0.8), finishing ahead of Tebogo in 19.97s, while Makanakaishe Charamba made a big Diamond League debut in 19.99s for third.

With his victory, Lyles is unbeaten in the Diamond League in seven years, and it's a massive statement for the rest of the season, especially ahead of the World Championships in Tokyo, as the man to beat when fully fit.

With a sub-20s clocking in his first major race of the year coming back from an injury, the Olympic and World 100m champion is surely back to take his place in the men's sprint division as the world's best male sprinter and the man to beat in any race he competes this year.
