Designed in collaboration with PUMA, the ITRI ball draws inspiration from Morocco’s traditional zellij art, a centuries-old form of geometric mosaic tilework that symbolises craftsmanship and unity.

According to CAF, the name “ITRI” translates to “star” in Tamazight, paying homage to the red star on Morocco’s national flag and the intricate star patterns that define zellij design.

The concept, CAF says, reflects the unity, energy, and shared passion of African football.

“It’s been a privilege to collaborate with PUMA on something that unites every nation at the tournament through a shared sense of connection.”

The ITRI’s design reportedly incorporates high-tech panel construction for aerodynamic precision while maintaining a vivid aesthetic that celebrates Africa’s cultural depth.

PUMA’s collaboration marks another chapter in the brand’s long history with CAF tournaments.
