The Super Eagles didn't just win tonight, they made a statement that echoed across the African continent.
“Big talent, but poor character. Osimhen is very disrespectful to his teammates, especially when things don’t go his way,” Abdullateef wrote.
In his post, Abdullateef pointed to moments where Osimhen appeared visibly frustrated with fellow forwards, including Ademola Lookman and Akor Adams
“He cannot get every pass,” Abdullateef noted, urging the striker to show more understanding toward his teammates.
He further warned that Osimhen’s reactions could negatively impact the squad’s chemistry.
“He needs to cut them some slack and show more maturity. The way he shouts at them is disrespectful and can create fear and distrust, which may stifle creativity, productivity and affect team unity,” he added.
