The decider, a rematch of last month's Wimbledon final, was a captivating display of tennis from both players, with Djokovic ultimately prevailing in two tiebreak sets, 7-6(3), 7-6(2).
The first set was a rollercoaster of emotions, with both players creating numerous break-point opportunities, even though Djokovic's composure in the tie-break proved decisive as he edged ahead.
The second set was equally intense, with neither player able to gain a significant advantage. However, the Serb’s experience and consistency prevailed once again, as he sealed the victory with a dominant performance in another tie-break.
