Fatimah wins a Scholarship to study Engineering
The Nigerian tennis player has secured a scholarship at Pan Atlantic University, where she will begin her studies.
The 19-year-old Nigerian tennis player expressed that the news was unbelievable.
“I was very excited. It was almost unbelievable because I wasn’t expecting such an outcome from something that I stumbled upon.
“It (the scholarship opportunity) was sent to a school group so I decided to give it a try.
“All these great things have happened, not because I’m extra special or anything, but because of God’s blessings in my life. So I give thanks to Him.
“They gave me the scholarship because of my academic performance, passion for education and my moral behavior during the interviews. I’m a bit nervous but excited too, ” Fatimah told Nigeria Tennis Live.
Meanwhile, her father, Majeed Wuraola, expressed immense pride and excitement for his daughter's achievement.
