Winners emerge at Nigeria Volleyball League

NAF Rockets and Delta Queens have emerged as the champions of the National Division 1 Volleyball League in the men's and women's categories, respectively.

NAF Rockets secured their title after defeating LifeCamp VC 3-0 in their final match as they finished the league with a total of 43 points, earning a well-deserved promotion to the 2025 Nigeria Volleyball Premier League.

Delta Queens remained undefeated throughout the season, finishing in first place with a total of 43 points while Wikki Queens and Ekiti Queens secured second and third place, respectively.

National Division 2 League

In the National Division 2 League, Defence Spikers emerged as champions with 38 points. Wikki Spikers finished second with 35 points, followed by Ajase Ipo VC in third place.

In fourth place is Bayelsa United with 24 points and Delta Force secured 22 points to finish in fifth place.

Osun Spikers (8 points), Sokoto United (3 points) and Jewel Spikers (1 point) failed to appear in the final phase of the 2024 National Division 2 League.

Engineer Musa Nimrod, the President of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVF), commended Abia State Government for hosting the final phase of the Division 1 and 2 Leagues.

He urged other state governors to prioritise sports development in their respective states to reduce social vices.

Nimrod congratulated the winners and participants for their contributions to the success of the leagues.
