Six-time champions Vipers SC will be keen on making a much needed bounceback to winning ways when they host Express FC in a Wednesday Uganda Premier League showdown at the St Mary's Stadium, Kitende.

However, victory over the Red Eagles will see the Richard Wasswa-coached side make up ground in the race to the championship.

They sit just three and two points behind leaders BUL FC and second-placed Kitara FC, respectively. The two sides have played a game more than the Venoms.

Meanwhile, the former hold the lion’s share of victories in this fixture, with ten wins since the 2012/13 season. Express have managed four victories while eight matches have ended in shared spoils.

Vipers and Express will be meeting for the 37th time in Uganda’s league history since 2006 when the Venoms joined the top flight division. We have won 16, drawn 12 and lost 8 with a return of 46 goals against 27.
