In the FIBA Intercontinental Cup 2024 title game, the Spanish team Unicaja Malaga defeated the NBA G League United 75-60 after putting up a strong performance throughout the tournament.
Unicaja had an average winning margin of 21 points each game over the whole FIBA ICC, and they were incredible.
They eliminated the Americans in the title match after defeating Petro de Luanda of Angola and Al Riyadi Beirut of Lebanon in the group rounds.
Unicaja beat NBA G League
With every shot they attempted, the Spanish team got off to a fast start and led by double figures in the first quarter.
After leading by five points at the end of the first quarter, Unicaja led 38–32 at the break.
But the Spanish had a frantic start to the third quarter, building a lead as big as 18, 52-34, halfway through — launching a 14-2 run that United ultimately couldn't overcome.
Dylan Osetkowski led his squad in scoring from the start and finished with 15 points.

Unicaja had four players who scored in double figures, and they played well with the ball, dishing out 25 assists to GLU's 16.
Osetkowski won the title of Tournament MVP in recognition of his achievements.

Australia's Tasmania JackJumpers defeated Al Riyadi Beirut 80-75 earlier in the day to win the bronze medal match.
They created history by winning the first-ever medal in the history of the competition for Oceania.
Africa's champion Petro de Luanda finished their campaign on a high note, defeating South America's champion Quimsa from Argentina 70-64 to secure fifth place in the competition.
