Former England striker Gary Lineker has predicted the outcome of Saturday’s UEFA Champions League final between Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan.
The match, set for the Allianz Arena in Munich, follows PSG and Inter’s semi-final victories over Arsenal and Barcelona, respectively.
Sharing his prediction on The Rest is Football podcast, Lineker tipped the French Ligue 1 champions to defeat the Serie A giants 2-0.
“I’m going 2-0 PSG. I think it is their turn, I have kept saying it,” Lineker stated. He added,
“It’s why I tipped Crystal Palace [to win the FA Cup final against Manchester City] and after what happened with Newcastle, and Tottenham winning any kind of trophy for the first time in 17 years, I have a feeling it’s that kind of season.”
