Trabzonspor manager counts on Onuachu for Galatasaray clash

According to reports from HaberTS, Trabzonspor coach Fatih Tekke is heavily relying on Paul Onuachu as a key weapon for the upcoming fixture against Galatasaray.

This reliance is well-founded, as the former Southampton player has been the most prolific goalscorer in the Turkish top flight this season.

He currently leads the Süper Lig scoring charts with 21 goals, five more than his closest competitor, Eldor Shomurodov.

Onuachu presents a formidable threat in the attacking third, known for his dominance in the air and skillful footwork. Any defensive lapse from the opposition could be decisively punished by the Nigerian international.

Trabzonspor have not secured a win against Galatasaray since 2022, but there is hope that Onuachu could be the difference-maker this time.

Playing at their home ground, Papara Park, the Black Sea Storm will also be looking to leverage their home advantage to secure a vital three points.

A victory would close the gap on Galatasaray to just one point, although their rivals would still have a game in hand.

Conversely, a loss would see Trabzonspor fall seven points behind, dealing a significant blow to their title hopes.
