Tobi Amusan returns to form in style with new Season's Best performance at Rabat Diamond League
World Record holder Tobi Amusan is back to winning ways in style after winning the women's 100mH event at the Rabat Diamond League.
The Nigerian hurdling queen blazed to an impressive Season's Best (SB) performance of 12.45s (1.2), finishing well clear of Nadine Visser in second with a time of 12.67s, and Pia Skrzyszowska third in 12.69s. World indoor silver medallist Ditaji Kambundji was fourth in 12.71s.
Amusan ran a well-executed race for her first 100mH win of the season, thus announcing her return to form and a reason to still keep an eye on for the rest of the season.
Her brilliant mark now puts her as the sixth fastest in the world this season, showing she's gradually getting back to her best shape months after her below-par performance at the Paris Olympic Games.
With her victory, Amusan will gun to keep up with the momentum as the season progresses, saving her best for the World Championships in Tokyo this summer, where she'll be aiming to reclaim her world title from 2022 and be back into recognition as the world's best female sprint hurdler.
