'Things will look good for us' - Verstappen happy with car, requests setup investigation
The Formula 1 racer expressed optimism about his chances for a strong showing at the Canadian Grand Prix.
Despite losing time and finishing ninth in Friday's second free practice session, Verstappen explained that Red Bull would investigate the dip in performance.
What Verstappen said
"Things will look good for us if we can recapture the performance and feeling from the first free practice," Verstappen stated, according to Sportal.
"Of course, we have to factor in that the track will evolve significantly and grip levels will increase."
Verstappen added that he's confident the team can find the "right operating window" for his RB21, enabling him to attack in qualifying later today and in tomorrow's race.
He described his fifth-place finish in Saturday's third free practice session in Montreal as "encouraging."
