The head-to-head record gives Uganda Cranes hope over Algeria

The Uganda Cranes have a mammoth task of upsetting all odds to beat Algeria in the 2023 AFCON qualifier on Sunday, 18th June, in Cameroon.

The team has picked only four points from as many games and tied with Tanzania as Niger trails by two points.

A quick scan into Algeria’s team composition, FIFA Ranking and form shows that they are odds-on-favourites to win but the Cranes shouldn’t lose hope!

The two sides have met 14 times, winning five games and sharing the spoils in the other four.

As regards the AFCON qualifications, the Cranes and Foxes have met in five qualifiers, with Uganda winning thrice and the Foxes only twice.
