Both matches are scheduled to be played in Yaoundé, Cameroon’s capital city. The first fixture will be held on Saturday, February 28, with the return encounter set for Tuesday, March 3.

The friendlies will provide valuable match fitness and tactical assessment opportunities for head coach Justine Madugy, as he fine-tunes his squad ahead of continental competition.

Nigeria and Cameroon share one of African women’s football’s fiercest rivalries. Their recent meeting before the 2024 WAFCON finals in Abeokuta ended in a 2-0 victory for the Super Falcons.

As defending champions, Nigeria will begin their WAFCON 2026 campaign in Group C, where they have been drawn alongside Malawi, Zambia and Egypt.
