Her comment referenced a viral fan challenge involving a supporter who vowed not to cut his hair until the men’s team record five consecutive wins.

The challenge began in October 2024 and has become a symbol of the men’s team’s long struggle to build consistent winning momentum.

Reacting to an update about the challenge, Oshoala wrote: “United women just completed 5 in a row today, is this a sign?” The post instantly connected the women’s team’s red-hot form with growing hope that the men’s side could finally achieve the same milestone.

The timing was perfect too, with United Women continuing their strong push near the top of the Women’s Super League table after another solid performance.

Manchester United’s men’s team are finally building rhythm under Michael Carrick. Their recent 2–0 win over Tottenham Hotspur made it four straight victories, leaving them one result away from matching the viral five-game mark.
