By making his 21st appearance for Germany’s U21 side, Atubolu overtook Manuel Neuer’s long-standing record of 20 appearances at that level.

Since debuting in 2022 with a clean sheet against Latvia, the Nigeria-eligible keeper has become a cornerstone for the U21 team, building his reputation with consistent, high-level performances.

His reflexes, composure under pressure, and commanding presence in the box have led many to tout him as Germany’s next big goalkeeping star.
