Nigerian international goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has reportedly attracted interest from African heavyweights Simba SC of Tanzania and Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca following his departure from South African side Chippa United.
The highly-rated shot-stopper is currently a free agent after mutually terminating his contract with the Chilli Boys last week, a decision said to have been made at his request.
Nwabali spent four seasons with Chippa United, where he developed into one of the most reliable goalkeepers in the South African top flight.
The former Lobi Stars goalkeeper played a key role for Nigeria at the Africa Cup of Nations where the Super Eagles finished third.
The Super Eagles goalkeeper’s consistency and big-match temperament have since placed him firmly on the radar of clubs across the continent, with Simba SC and Raja Casablanca both keen to strengthen their squads.
