S/Leone vs Nigeria: WATCH Osimhen's anxious moments before Iheanacho's winner

A video has surfaced on social media showing a restless Victor Osimhen in the final moments of Nigeria’s AFCONQ2023 clash against Sierra Leone. 

Osimhen was one of the stars of the day as Nigeria Super Eagles survived a scare against the determined Leone Stars on Sunday in Monrovia. 

The Napoli hero netted an excellent brace to help the Eagles to book their place in the tournament next year after a 3-2 win over Sierra Leone. 

Osimhen was on the pitch for 81 minutes with the scoreline 2-1 after Mustapha Bundu’s goal pulled one back before the break for the home side. 

However, he was subbed off with Taiwo Awoniyi taking his place for the final nine minutes of the encounter.

Those final minutes proved to be the most anxious for the Napoli icon as he could barely watch as Sierra Leone put Nigeria under pressure according to a video by CAFOnline writer, T. Kla Wesley Jr.

Three minutes after he left the pitch, the hosts completed their comeback when Augustus Kargbo made it 2-2.
