The left winger came through the Generation Foot academy, just like another Senegalese hero, Sadio Mane, and could be set to follow in the footsteps of the national team captain, with his playing style already being likened to the former Liverpool star.
Diouf came into prominence after starring for Senegal’s U17 team, which won the 2022 U17 AFCON, where he scored five goals to finish as the tournament’s top scorer.
He is touted as one of the most talented young players on the continent, and time will tell whether he made the right decision by moving to Metz.
