Ronaldo: World’s highest-paid athlete puts up his £5MILLION Cheshire mansion up for sale

Cristiano Ronaldo, the world’s highest-paid athlete, has put his stunning Cheshire mansion on the market.

 The £5 million property, located in Alderley Edge, was once Ronaldo’s home during his time at Manchester United.

 After moving to Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr following his fallout with under-fire manager Erik ten Hag, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner no longer requires the residence, which boasts a staggering 23 acres of land.

The luxury mansion, which was initially listed for £5.5 million, has been on the market for 18 months. 

In a bid to attract potential buyers, Ronaldo has reportedly reduced the price by £500,000. 

The seven-bedroom property features several luxury amenities, including an indoor swimming pool, gym, sauna, jacuzzi, a cinema room, and a wine store. 

Outside, the property offers a tennis court, a padel court, and a two-bedroom guest barn.

Ronaldo returned to Manchester United in September 2021 but left the club after just over a year. 

Following his departure, the 39-year-old Portugal skipper moved to Saudi Arabia, where he now plays for Al-Nassr. 

During this transition, Ronaldo and his family, including his partner Georgina Rodriguez, relocated to Riyadh.

 Rodriguez, who expressed her desire to leave Manchester, stated in the third season of her reality show ‘I Am Georgina’ that she was excited about their move to Saudi Arabia.

The couple initially stayed at the luxurious Four Seasons hotel in Riyadh, where they occupied the Kingdom Suite, which was part of a 17-room arrangement for Ronaldo’s entourage. 

The total cost of their hotel stay reportedly amounted to over £250,000. 

Ronaldo and his family have since settled into a new home in Saudi Arabia.
