Real Madrid hold down Mbappé and Tchouaméni from joining France for international duty
Les Bleus are preparing for the Nations League Finals, where they face Spain in the semi-final on June 5th in Stuttgart.
Both players were instrumental for Real Madrid this season despite the team failing to win any trophies.
Mbappe and Co. to stay put
Real Madrid insists on adhering to the official release date, and both players will only be available to manager Didier Deschamps on Monday (June 2nd), three days before the clash with the European champions, according to Sportal.
For obvious reasons, the French internationals playing for Inter and Paris Saint-Germain in Saturday's Champions League final will also join the French camp on Monday.
These include Benjamin Pavard, Marcus Thuram, Lucas Hernandez, Dayot Upamecano, Bradley Barcola, Ousmane Dembélé, and Warren Zaïre-Emery.
Meanwhile, Chelsea defender Malo Gusto, who started in the Europa Conference League final victory against Betis (4-1), will immediately join Didier Deschamps' squad.
A win for France will see them through to the final of the UEFA Nations League.
