PSG fans honour Luis Enrique's late daughter Xana after historic Champions League victory
The French side won their first Champions League trophy after thrashing Inter Milan 5-0 in the final in Munich.
In a landmark achievement, the French team recorded the largest goal difference in the history of the competition. This five-goal victory marks the most significant margin since the tournament began in 1956.
Fans pay tribute to Enrique's late daughter
Xana tragically passed away in 2019 at the age of nine after battling osteosarcoma, a rare bone cancer.
Enrique has spoken openly about his loss, sharing his grief and memories in a recent documentary. "The most negative experiences of your life are the ones that teach you the most," he reflected.
"My daughter came to live with us for nine wonderful years. We have a thousand memories of her. I consider myself to have been fortunate. Very fortunate."
Xana was a prominent part of Enrique's celebrations when he led Barcelona to a treble in the 2014-15 season. He achieved the same feat on Saturday, securing PSG's first-ever Champions League title.
Following the match, as reported by Goal, PSG supporters unveiled a heartfelt banner depicting Enrique celebrating with Xana, who is pictured wearing the team's home jersey.
