Police complete quarterfinals schedule

Three Fufa Big league teams have made it to the Stanbic Uganda Cup quarterfinals after successful attempts in the round of 16.

Police sealed the last slot on Monday evening after seeing off fellow FUFA Big League rival Ndejje University at Kavumba.

Dennis Kalanzi and Herman Wasswa scored late in the game to send the Cops through.

The Cops are joined by second-division sides Adjumani Town Council and Calvary in the UPL-dominated quarters.

Adjumani saw Bunyagururu while Calvary beat Big League heavyweights Kitara in Yumbe.

Record ten-time winners Express and KCCA went through alongside Soltilo Bright Stars and will be in the draws together with last year’s finalists BUL and Vipers.
