NPFL: Israel Adesanya bets ₦6M on Enyimba to defeat Lobi Stars

Enyimba will host Lobi Stars on Wednesday after picking CAF Confederations Cup group stage over the weekend.

Ahead of the Enyimba and Lobi Stars clash in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), Israel Adesanya has placed a bet of six million naira on the People's Elephant to defeat the Benue side.

Nigerian giants Enyimba are through to the CAFCC group stage.

Enyimba will host Lobi Stars at the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba for their second match of the 2024/25 season, kicking off at 4 pm midweek.

Israel Adesanya bets on NPFL

The UFC fighter Adesanya is actively promoting the Nigerian league by placing a bet on an NPFL game today in Aba.

He staked $4,000 (₦6 million) on Enyimba to defeat Lobi Stars, with an anticipated return of $5,920 (₦9 million) as he posted the game on his X account.

Recall that Enyimba is the only Nigerian team that qualified for the CAF inter-club group stage after Etoile Filante of Burkina Faso in the last preliminary round.

The People's Elephants advanced to the group stage following a 3-2 win on penalties.
