“My favourite Nigerian song I heard when I was young was ‘Oleku.’ Banger!.”

The track, Ice Prince’s 2010 hit featuring Brymo, was a regular soundtrack at family functions and Nigerian parties Saka attended while growing up in London.
Released in 2010 by Chocolate City, "Oleku" is widely regarded as one of the most influential songs in African hip-hop history. Its impact spans cultural, commercial, and political spheres, redefining the reach of Nigerian rap
The record is frequently cited as one of the most remixed Nigerian songs of all time, winning awards like Song of the Year at the City People Entertainment Awards and Hottest Single of the Year at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards.
Its popularity sparked countless unofficial versions and covers across the continent, solidifying its status as a foundational Afrobeats-rap fusion track.
Bukayo Saka becomes highest-paid after committing future to the Gunners
Saka has officially become Arsenal's highest-paid player after signing a new five-year contract that keeps him at the club until June 2031.
The deal, worth a total of approximately £78 million, reflects his status as the cornerstone of Mikel Arteta's long-term project.
Saka's salary has increased to over £300,000 per week, ahead of Kai Havertz’s £280K weekly package.
This renewal makes Saka the highest-paid player in the club's current squad,. While it is a record for the current era, his weekly wage remains slightly below the historical high of £350,000 per week previously held by Mesut Özil.
Saka, who joined the Hale End academy at age eight, has now made over 300 appearances for the club and stated upon signing that his goal is to "win trophies and make history" at the Emirates.
