New Ballon d'Or favourite revealed after Yamal, Raphinha exit from UCL

Lamine Yamal and Raphinha could miss out on the 2025 Ballon d'Or after Barcelona's exit from the UEFA Champions League.

The LaLiga giants crashed out after losing 7-6 on aggregate, and despite fielding two of the most in-form players on the planet, latest reports suggest their exit at the hands of Inter could be a detrimental factor.

According to GFFN, PSG's Ousmane Dembélé (26) has now become the new bookmakers’ favourite to win the Ballon d’Or.

Dembele has emerged as the new favourite, thanks to his chance of winning the UEFA Champions League, something neither Yamal or Raphinha can pull off this season.

It’s already been an outstanding season for the France international, who has captured a Ligue 1 title and recorded 33 goals and 13 assists in 46 appearances so far.

With PSG still in contention for both the Coupe de France and the Champions League, Dembélé’s remarkable campaign could become even more impressive.
