With wins on the last day of the regular NBA season, the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Los Angeles Clippers both guaranteed a postseason berth.
After defeating the Golden State Warriors 124-119 in overtime, the Clippers advanced to the play-in round and finished fifth in the Western Conference.
The Clippers set up a play-off matchup with the Denver Nuggets, who had already qualified for the playoffs but secured fourth place by defeating the Houston Rockets 126-111, thanks to 12 of James Harden's game-high 39 points in overtime.

The Timberwolves defeated the Utah Jazz 116-105, led by Anthony Edwards with 43 points, to finish sixth and earn a spot in the playoffs against the Los Angeles Lakers.
