The Indiana Pacers seemed defeated until mounting a comeback in the fourth quarter to defeat the Oklahoma City Thunder 111-110 in Game 1 of the NBA Finals.
With less than a second remaining, Tyrese Haliburton scored the game-winning basket to give the Pacers a 1-0 series lead.

The Pacers struggled with turnovers in the first half but were able to stay in the game.

After falling behind 12 points at the half and 9 going into the last quarter, the Pacers rallied to win the game on the road.
Even though NBA MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 38 points, the Thunder, who will host Game 2 of the best-of-seven championship series on Sunday, couldn't get the job gone.
In the win, Haliburton recorded 14 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists, while Siakam topped Indiana's scoring with 19 points.
Andrew Nembhard was instrumental in the victory, contributing 14 points, four rebounds, and six assists.
