Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro ruled out of Game 3 against the Nuggets
The Miami Heat guard had surgery in April to repair a broken bone suffered in Game 1 of the first round against the Milwaukee Bucks.

“I don’t want to be Nostradamus right now — we’re taking it one day at a time,” Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said Tuesday after Miami’s practice.

“We’ll meet with the training staff later on today and probably tomorrow, and we’ll just continue this process.”
“He has not been cleared yet, so that’s where we are,” Spoelstra continued. “But we’re encouraged by the work that he has been doing.”
Big picture for the Heat
Herro is a capable 20-point scorer who can offer the Heat something totally different as well as elite-level deep shooting. For now, though, Miami will have to manage without him.
