Harambee Stars legend Victor Wanyama has praised Manzur Okwaro on his high-profile move to French club Stade de Reims, calling it a significant milestone in the young player’s career.

The 19-year-old utility player joins the Ligue 2 outfit on an initial six-month loan from Nairobi United, with the deal including a permanent option to buy at the end of the season.

Reims confirmed the signing on January 21, 2026, noting that the Harambee Stars utility man will initially integrate into the Pro 2 (reserve) squad to acclimatise to the European game.
