Manchester City Seals Claudio Echeverri Transfer from River Plate for €14.5m
The young talent, who turned 18 on January 2, has penned a deal with the Premier League giants that will keep him at the club until June 2028.

Echeverri's transfer to Manchester City is significant, valued at an initial £12.5 million, with potential add-ons of around £7.5 million.

His performances, particularly as captain of Argentina at the Under-17 World Cup, have marked him as a player of high potential. Notably, he scored a hat-trick in the quarter-final win over Brazil.
The Loan Back to River Plate
As part of the deal, Echeverri will remain on loan at River Plate until January 2025. This decision reflects Manchester City's strategy of investing in young talents and allowing them to develop further at their current clubs.
